Alan, thank you for being here. Please tell us a little bit about you and your background:

I helped found EarthDay 1970, and contributed to the First International UN Conference on the Human Environment in Stockholm. I created the pioneering first green impact incubator on EarthDay, grown now to 100,000 members: Green2Gold for eco inventors and entrepreneurs.

I became a Professor of Environment & Energy, and have done some 5,000 workshops, seminars, conferences around the world, G2G is also an Incubator of Incubators for sustainable economic development, and we have championed the inclusive GREEN ECONOMY.

I just finished a major project for the state of California: Climate Resources Guide on mitigation, adaptation, resilience for government, industry, and the public.

I have been featured in many media, from CNN to Oprah, to WSJ to Sustainable Industries, INC, Fortune, Business Week, etc. I was inducted into the International GreenIndustries Hall of Fame for Lifetime Achievement.

What is a fun fact about you?

I am an inventor of all kinds of green tech, especially transportation and renewable energy. I created, built patented bikes, motorcycles, cars, atv, ships, aircraft and have a new form of rotorcraft that is a major solution for fighting all kinds of FIRES…4 flying prototypes built.

Why do you think climate change and sustainability is such an important topic today?

Self evident pace of climate related change and record breaking natural disasters: floods, droughts, fires hurricanes, tornadoes, stormsWhat do you envision your industry looking like 10 years from now?wide adoption in all sectors of human endeavors of clean tech, renewable energy, carbon reductions, sustainable economic development, regenerative ag,electric non -combustion transportation, etc.

What can the average person do to make a difference?

Make Green consumer choices in all areas ,push companies to be sustainable, govt policies for a green economy, and climate mitigation, be aware of choices that support green enterprise and non profits,Invest in green companies
