Tell us a bit about your sustainability journey.
I completed my undergraduate, master’s, and PhD studies in materials science, specializing in semiconductors, with my PhD and thesis at Imperial College London, where I focused on batteries. Throughout my research, I conducted extensive testing and experiments on battery performance, which made me realize the critical role batteries play in the global effort toward decarbonization. At the time, this was before the massive rise of EVs and renewable energy, yet it was already clear how transformative better battery technology could be. Today, the impact is undeniable—battery performance is one of the key enablers of the energy transition, and its role in shaping a sustainable future has never been more critical.

Addionics provides specialized improved rechargeable batteries by redesigning battery architecture.
