Going Green is all about sustainable entrepreneurship, and we love connecting and meeting companies that are making a difference. We came across The Humble Company. through a connection in the sustainable industry and have been following their journey ever since.

We are firm believers that consumers can make a huge difference when they use their buying power to support companies that have a focus on sustainability, and simultaneously companies that focus on sustainability can have a big impact on the environment.

Let’s Get To Know The Humble Company

Since 2013, The Humble Co. is leading a small revolution in personal care products – from design and manufacture to humbleness. Founded by dentist Noel Abdayem, following a period of volunteer work in Jamaica, their products are now available in more than 40,000 stores and dental clinics worldwide. All of their products have been designed and manufactured under the guidance and supervision of a team of dentists.

More Than A Product

The Humble Company is a health & wellness company offering reliable and innovative products that are good for you and kind to the planet. They bring lifestyle into the static and traditional oral care and wellness categories. With products developed by dentists and designed in Sweden, they strive for healthier people, on a healthier planet.

Let’s face it – no one really likes going to the dentist, but if you’re going to get bloody gums and have your dentist tell you ‘you need to floss more’ you might as well do it with environmentally friendly products.

Scandinavian design

Going Green has covered quite a bit of international sustainability, and it is known that Scandinavians are one of the leaders in sustainability and environmentalism. Around the world, Scandinavian design is admired for its simplicity and efficiency. This has extended into efficient and environmentally conscious manufacturing, distribution, and aftercare. The Humble Co. is proud of its Swedish origins and influence on the design and development of our products.

The Humble Smile Foundation

In 2017, Humble was introduced to the U.S. market, and have been growing consistently. Every Humble purchase funds projects for the benefit of children in need. The Humble Smile Foundation has over 29 projects in underserved communities around the world where they assist with education, screening, treatment, and prevention.

Quality Products

So what makes their products so sustainable? Their goal is to minimize plastic use and implement biodegradable alternatives into the dental industry. All of Humble’s products are biodegradable and/or recyclable, vegan, cruelty-free, FDA-approved, FSC certified, and 100% Eco. Their toothbrushes are made of bamboo and plant-based materials, and same with their floss picks, cotton swabs, and floss thread. and will introduce new exciting products such as toothpaste, mouthwash, and gum.

While you may not enjoy going to the dentist, it’s important to take care of your personal hygiene and health, and be conscious of the environment. Now, you have no excuse not to do both at the same time.
