Bill Zujewski, Co-Founder and CMO Green Business Bureau

Green Success Stories sat down with Bill Zujewski Co-Founder and CMO Green Business Bureau who believes businesses can make an impact on climate change. Bill is a high tech marketing executive and entrepreneur in the enterprise software space who’s led teams at 4 hyper-growth companies with 4 successful exits. He is now focused on making the business world more environmentally and socially responsible. Doing it by making my company, Green Business Bureau, a household name and leader in Sustainability Performance Management software.

Who is Bill Zujewski?

Bill Zujewski, Co-Founder and CMO Green Business Bureau, a company seeking to change the world through software that helps businesses become more sustainable. He has held leadership positions in Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Professional Services and Engineering, and he has proven success managing small and large organizations resulting in winning product strategies, market share growth, market expansion and consistent revenue growth.

Bill, thank you for being here. Tell us a little bit about you and your background:

I’m am the co-founder and CMO of Green Business Bureau. Our mission is simple, help every business become a greener business. I’ve spent my career in enterprise software. GBB is a company that provides a Sustainability Management software solution. It includes an online EcoAssessment and EcoPlanner.

What is a fun fact about you?

I’ve have 4 children between 18 and 25. They are all passionate about doing good in their careers and helping save the planet.

Why do you think climate change and sustainability is such an important topic today?

The business world can have the biggest impact on addressing climate change, yet few businesses are committed to changing their processes, policies, procedures and products to do so.

What do you envision your industry looking like 10 years from now?

A world where every business is held accountable for their sustainability. Companies will report their sustainability progress and status just like they report their financial results.

What can the average person do to make a difference?

Make a difference at work, not just at home. Start a green team. Find green initiatives. Take on green projects. Lead by example at work.

Bill, thank you for being here today. We appreciate you sharing your background in sustainability and business.
