Bill Zujewski, Co-Founder and CMO Green Business Bureau, a company seeking to change the world through software that helps businesses become more sustainable. He has held leadership positions in Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Professional Services and Engineering, and he has proven success managing small and large organizations resulting in winning product strategies, market share growth, market expansion and consistent revenue growth.
Bill, thank you for being here. Tell us a little bit about you and your background:
I’m am the co-founder and CMO of Green Business Bureau. Our mission is simple, help every business become a greener business. I’ve spent my career in enterprise software. GBB is a company that provides a Sustainability Management software solution. It includes an online EcoAssessment and EcoPlanner.
What is a fun fact about you?
I’ve have 4 children between 18 and 25. They are all passionate about doing good in their careers and helping save the planet.
Why do you think climate change and sustainability is such an important topic today?
The business world can have the biggest impact on addressing climate change, yet few businesses are committed to changing their processes, policies, procedures and products to do so.
What do you envision your industry looking like 10 years from now?
A world where every business is held accountable for their sustainability. Companies will report their sustainability progress and status just like they report their financial results.
What can the average person do to make a difference?
Make a difference at work, not just at home. Start a green team. Find green initiatives. Take on green projects. Lead by example at work.
