Tell us a bit about your sustainability journey.
My sustainability journey started with a realization: capital can do more than generate returns—it can drive positive change. As an electrical engineering grad from the University at Buffalo, where I co-founded the Committee for Socially Responsible Investment, I’ve spent many years now blending finance with impact. I’ve advised over 50 companies and managed $200 million in investments, often steering them toward greener paths—like turning a California gas supplier into a sustainability leader with 25,000 customers or scaling a solar firm from $17 million to $100 million in revenue. Founding Green Street Advisory in 2021 was my way of doubling down on that mission, helping businesses grow while tackling energy transition and beyond. It’s about results that last—economically and environmentally.

Share a green success story with us – how have you helped customers or other businesses in the fight against climate change?
Green Street Advisory partnered with a retail energy company turned “gen-tailer” to launch a first of its kind solar offering which will open the door for millions of US households to take advantage of solar in a way that was not previously possible. Green Street was the exclusive advisor to this distributed generation platform and forged a multi-year joint venture partnership with one of the largest renewable energy finance companies, bringing together capital markets and this brand-new solar product offering that is forecast to deliver 100s of distributed generation megawatts for years to come.
What would you do with $1 billion dollars?
With $1 billion, I’d accelerate what works: scaling innovative and growing businesses and using the capital strategically to create and leverage unique opportunities. I’d invest in distributed energy—like solar and battery storage platforms—pairing them with smart financing to reach millions of customers, solving problems for decades to come. I’d also back tech-driven infrastructure and water projects that cut waste and boost resilience, while supporting industrials and transportation firms to take advantage of their evolving landscapes. It’s not just about money—it’s about building systems that multiply impact, generate real returns for all stakeholders and drive actual impact.
What do you envision your industry looking like in ten years?
In ten years, I see industries like energy, technology, and infrastructure converging into a smarter, more integrated ecosystem. Energy transition will dominate—solar and storage won’t just be options; they’ll be the backbone, with virtual power plants balancing grids for millions. Transportation and industrials will lean hard into efficiency, powered by data and renewables. Capital will flow increasingly to companies that blend returns and profit with purpose, and firms like Green Street will lead by bridging strategy and execution and advising investors how best to accomplish their goals, while building great businesses. It’s a future where growth and impact aren’t trade-offs—they’re well-combined and optimized.
